Falls Detector
The falls detector is particularly suitable for individuals with cognitive impairment, as the automatic alert means that there is no requirement for the user to raise an alarm manually. Following an alert, the monitoring centre will contact pre-agreed responders, including family, friends and the emergency services, without the need for the individual to provide specific names and numbers to the monitoring centre.
The falls detector can be worn on the wrist or as a pendant, and it is both waterproof and shock proof. The detector needs to be linked to a lifeline unit or pager.
