The pendant can be used in conjunction with other TECS based solutions that support users with cognitive impairment. It can be useful as a supplementary wearable daily device, as the ‘panic button’ can be initiated whenever the user feels it is necessary, giving extra peace of mind. The device is effective around the home or garden environment, as it sends a radio signal to the Lifeline Unit when the button is pressed within a range of 75 metres. The pendant links to either a pager or lifeline unit, ensuring that assistance is never far away.
