Property Exit Sensor
Those living with various levels of cognitive impairment may benefit from this device. It helps carers and/or family members to support individuals who may:
- Leave the home at unusual times of the day and night
- Walk around and get lost (sometimes known as wandering)
- Forget to shut the door securely.
The device is attached to the entrance of the home. It detects when the door has been opened and someone has passed through the entrance. This can have a timer set to only detect movement at certain times of the day and/or night and can be linked to either a pager or lifeline unit for peace of mind.
